I have had diarrhoea since my first denosumab injection on 26 June 2026. I have severe pancreatic insufficiency and take creon to digest my food. The diarrhoea started a week after the injection and is ongoing. I have been on a drip in hospital once already. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else, particularly anyone else with pancreatic insufficiency? Please can someone help?

Thanks so much for your reply @Lulu. I rang the helpline but the nurses were not aware that denosumab causes diarrhoea though Google AI led me to believe it did. Anyway it’s settled slightly though I am still struggling with low potassium and tummy problems and just went for another blood test. Would love to hear from anyone else with pancreatic insufficiency and osteoporosis. I move on to the yearly infusion in November now as that causes no stomach side effects.
