Continuing the discussion from New here advice please:
I read that article it was interesting but useless for me with my current fatigue levels, my GP surgery is somewhat behind the times, so nothing virtual and the physio doesn’t do home visits apparently.
Pity you can’t get a physiotherapist home visit. It would make such a difference for you. The article didn’t apply to me either but it is interesting. CRPS is such a weird condition really.
I reckon for tiredness you just have to try and rest as much as you can - easier said than done if you are looking after your husband and have CRPS as well..What are your vitamin levels like? If they are low that could be making you feel more tired so maybe you could get your doctor to check them out, it would also be helpful for your osteoporosis. Persuading your doctor to do that might not be easy though. Good luck anyway
The fatigue didn’t start affecting me much before the brain haemmoraghe, it’s since it that I’ve suffered this symptom. Many BI survivors do, my vitamin levels are good as I eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, and fresh food.
I used to work more hours, on campus, so driving everyday as well as doing the weekly shop. Now, I work from home and only for 10hrs, spread over 3 days. My life has shrunk considerably since the brain injury(BI).Shop online and only leave the house for appointments as I get easily overwhelmed and confused out in public, can’t go out on my own anymore!

This is totally outside osteoporosis (which I have) , but I had a stroke with a brain haemorrhage six years ago. In most health respects I came out of it well, apart from post-stroke fatigue. That lasted till a friend told me she had great post-Covid fatigue recovery - literally during the course of the sessions of the LIGHTENING PROCESS. This is very much a conscious thinking and action process. It does not seem to have been taken up by medical profession (my Practitioner was actually a GP). My recovery was similarly quick - yes I can relapse a bit, but go through the steps I was taught, in being my own coach. I have used the process for other areas I’ve been challenged in, particularly weight loss. No need for injections - the process has enabled me steadily lose weight over less 10 months a couple of dress sizes, through the way I think about and use food. I would certainly recommend it for your fatigue.

I’ve had a look at the link. But you have to pay for this. Which I think is unacceptable!
How interesting. Slightly different route for me. Suffered from ME for many years then osteoporosis resulting in several fractures. I went down Pain coaching route and then onto a gentle exercise group. Both covered conscious thinking, mindfulness and have greatly helped me retrain brain to manage pain and gradually improve in so many areas of my life and my thinking and really understanding how my body works and that I can control things. I was sceptical to begin with but like you it has now become part of my life (without thinking) and something I wish I knew about years ago. Thank you so much for sharing
