Reading Dexa reports

I have a Dexa report it says high but I don’t know how you know where in your body it is ? Can anyone help

The DEXA scan report should give the scores for different parts of your body.

You can ask yor GP for a copy.

Thanks I do have the report but find it very confusing it’s saying I’m high
but don’t know if it’s my hip / back/ neck or all of them as there in the report
And the waiting list here is 8 years for the hospital consultation

I found the DXA scan results hard to interpret. I spoke to a nurse at ROS who was very reassuring and helpful.

If there is a Fracture Liaison Service in your health authority they are usually very helpful.

Thank I understand it now and know it’s in my left hip and back
also found local support group in Belfast next meeting September

Also the waiting list to see a consultant here is 8 years I need to gather my own information
