I have just started weekly Risedronate and during the second week I have had a recurrence of interstitial cystitis bladder pain. Does anyone know can this be a side effect of Risedronate?

Thanks, Lulu, sorry for the delay in replying I just saw this. I spoke to my GP who suggested I stop the Resideronate for a couple of weeks then restart and see if the cystitis symptoms come back which I’m now doing. If it does come back I will give the helpline a call. Thank you
