Hi
I am new to this site and wondered if anybody else has experienced a delay in receiving Romosuzamab. I was told last October that I would be eligible for this medication as I have severe osteoporosis in my spine. After numerous attempts contacting Rheumatology department at the RLI I am still waiting to receive confirmation of a start date.
I met with Rheumatology in early January & was contacted by the supplier, Pharmaxo within a couple of weeks, started the self administered injections in mid February. All went perfectly. Have you received confirmation of the new prescription. Would it be worth contacting Pharmaxo directly to see if they have your details? October 2025 was a long time ago. I can supply contact info if required.
Hi
Thank you for replying. I had a telephone consultation with a consultant at the RLI (Lancaster) last October who asked me to have a look at the onsite info on Romosuzanab which I did that day and phoned back to say I was happy to go ahead with this medication. My problem has been there has been no contact since and after many attempts to make contact I complained to PALS in March this year. They must have contacted Rheumatology because suddenly my GP asked for blood tests in order to send a QRisk to Rheumo. I have spoken to a receptionist since but cannot get to speak to my consultant. All I want is to know when I will commence treatment and I am feeling invisible in the whole process. The reason for my post was to know if anyone else has had the same experience as myself. Thank you for your advice.
