My name is karen gray & i am 36 years of age. I have 3 children 15, 14 & 17weeks.

i have recently been diagnosed with pregnancy related osteoporosis.

On the 21st of December 2025 about 6 weeks after i gave birth i was in extreme pain (actually in pain while pregnant and it carried on) i took myself to hospital and after two ambulance journeys to different hospitals i eventually had an mri which found that i had numerous spinal fractures old and new.

Had a dexa scan early jan which confirmed severe osteoporosis in my spine and osteopenia in both of my hips.

Got an appointment with rheumatologist and she wanted to start treatment asap.

This week i started on teriparatide for 2 years.
