Continuing the discussion from Accepting new body shape:
Hi I have the same problem with protruding abdomen and loss of height following 6 compressed facture in my upper back.. Plus I seem to be putting on weight and eating less , I do wonder if its the daily injection i am having that is causing this? I am doing exercise and walking but no good. Yes it can get you down at times, but when looking around i am and others not the only ladies with this problem I am not much of a clothes shopper but now look around for nice tops to cover my tum.

I can relate to your problems as mine are the same. A stomach that is unsightly, 2 inches of lost height, I was only 4’ 11" many years ago I’m now 4’ 9". I’m sure I’ll disappear shortly!
Trying to get any clothes to fit is difficult although I did get some jeans with an elasticated waist from Chums. They’re not too bad. As for tops they’re usually too long but now it’s even worse. They think everyone is 5’ 8"!
I too have put on weight and eat less
I suppose we have to just battle on
I too have the same challenges about my changing body shape due to spinal fractures.
I look for a “boxy” rather than shaped or tunic fit. I now only buy trousers with elasticated waists, there seem to be lots around in the summer but it’s harder in the winter.
I keep reminding myself that I’m still the same person and that I am more than my appearance.
