Hello, I am new to this.
Three weeks ago I had my first Zoledronate Infusion. I felt a bit achy but I was told that this could happen. But I have now started to have bone and muscle pain. I am getting pain in my shoulders, elbows, back, legs and my hands. My thumbs are very painful so I am struggling to use my hands.
Has anyone had this trouble or knows if this is just what happens with the first infusion

Hi sorry you are experiencing side effects which I believe are quite common. I’ve had 2 infusions so far and my second one affected me more than the first, which I believe is unusual.
If you feel worried or concerned about the after effects then I would call the ROS nurse helpline. They are really knowledgeable and will I’m sure help you.
