Hello, I am new on here. Does anyone have a similar problem? I have 8 spinal fractures and 5 inches loss in height. I also have kyphoscoliosis resulting in my right ribs touching my pelvis causing considerable pain. If this is your experience, I would love to know how you manage pain. Do you do exercises which help?

Hello, I also am similar to you, 9 fractured vertebrae and both sides of my ribs touch my hip bones and I have lost 4 inches in height. I walk as much as I can, keep sitting down along the way. I did do chair Pilates but stopped when I had my last fracture but hoping to do it again, I am a bit afraid of too much stretching with the bands, so may not do that part. I take paracetamol almost daily. I know how you feel, and clothes do not fit properly now! I wish you well.
Thank you for replying,Tess. I think some find it hard to believe that we are able to function with so many fractures! But we carry on. I too do some .mostly chair based exercises, and walking is my ‘medicine’. I wish you all the best, too x
