Looking At Non-Drug Options

Hi, Has anyone here any experience of Magnetic Resonance Therapy (or MBST as it seems to be known). There are claim of improvements for those of us with OP. Looking into it though, most of the research papers have come from the manufacturers of the equipment, have small numbers of participants and are generally not published in well-respected medical journals. So, whilst it might be a bit premature to get out hopes up of a non-pharmacological treatment option, it’d be great to hear some other success stories of what these improvements are.

Not tried MBSt but did go for High Dose Oxygen Treatment (HDOT) involves breathing pure oxygen at higher than atmospheric pressures in an enclosed chamber. It did help me sleep better afterwards which is a great bonus.

Thank you, I look forward to hearing about them. Good luck,

I have had my REM scan but unfortunately my T score hadn’t improved much. 12 months ago I was -3.1 and now -3.0. Therefore I can’t really recommend MBST as a effective treatment for osteoporosis if you want to improve your bone density.

I’m sorry to hear that Cajah; it must’ve been a great disappointment for you. Perhaps the effect might build up by next REMS scan. Good luck with your care

Hello Cajah

As it is a year now since your trialled the MBST treatment. Are you able to confirm if there was an improvement in your bone health on the Dexa Scan?

I am seriously considering trialling this treatment but researching at present before I commit.

Many thanks in advance
