New to spine fractures

I was told I have a spine fracture in my back ,I have it for two weeks .i haven’t been told how to manage it.Does anyone else have pain in there core area more than there back?I don’t know how much to move about or do.?Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis, please be assured that you are in good company here on this forum. You are not alone in having no guidance from your GP on how best manage your diagnosis. The ROS is absolutely the best place to be.They have nurses who are on the end of a telephone for you 5 days a week and that is perhaps the best starting point for you to have a chat, ask questions & get guidance. I had the same thing, I accidentaly found some very useful patient info leaflets on my hospital website. Exercises, how to get in and out of bed, how to build up your daily movements etc. No information or advice was given to me on my hospital discharge and I’m one of many as I have found since joining this site which has left me frankly astounded. There are lots of videos and articles here to help as well. Good luck and wish you a speedy fracture recovery :folded_hands:
