Hi @Gillym ,
Wishing you the warmest welcome to our community!
We appreciate that it can be difficult to talk about our health, so thank you for sharing here.
Receiving a diagnosis can bring up so many questions and worries, so it’s really understandable if things are feeling difficult at the moment, especially as you mention you’re expecting surgery.
We wanted to make sure you were aware that we have lots of support and information on our website that we’d invite you to take a look at. This includes lots of videos and FAQs that might feel helpful to have a look through at this time, such as the following video on ‘understanding your diagnosis’:
We also have our free service BoneMed Online, that provides tailored information for those starting osteoporosis medicines, and a helpline of specialist osteoporosis nurses who would be able to chat things through.
We really hope that some of our valued members may be able to pop in and share some of their experiences too.
Please do keep reaching out here whenever you need.
Wishing you the very best,
Lulu
