Hello, I am 69 and I was diagnosed with Osteopenia some 3 years ago, started on Zolendronic Acid infusions in 2023 every 18 months. I have had upper respiratory infections which causes violent coughing lasting up to 8 weeks and my respiratory consultant ordered an x-ray which he said there were definitely 2 or may be 3 rib fractures probably caused by my cough.
Should I contact my Osteoporosis department for their advice as I’m not due for my next infusion until July?
