Hi all, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in September and like many of you started searching the net for things I could do to improve my bone strength. I came across Brock House Bones on facebook, run by Dr Lisa Moore (a physical therapist in US). She has a series of YouTube videos (free & paid) to help people exercise safely. She follows the Liftmor exercises, which has been fully researched. I would include a link to the research, but I cant include it!!
It’s early days for me so far to know if it has helped my scores, but I certainly feel stronger.
Thank you Cade and welcome to the community. Just tried to post the link to the videos but they are not accepted in the posts. Easy to find though, I just put the title in the search engine.
I follow Brick House Bones on Instagram as drlisamooredpt and also jocelyn_wittstein_md. I think they’re both worth a follow as they seem to have been interested in OP and exercise for sometime. I’m doing resistance training under guidance of a good PT instructor at the gym. I also take Binosto (reluctantly), but have an appointment with an endocrinologist in a few weeks to discuss treatments and hoping he’ll confirm exercise alone will be enough.
